Ya see, I never believe that we're too far gone; I never believe that we're in too deep and we can’t get out. I don’t believe in surrender. I do believe in tolerance and compromise but even these have their limits. So, this blog is a test to see if i want to write a real blog. I'll post things I find interesting, or disturbing. I'll try to instigate conversation. I'll try to have fun and take a journey into humanity. I express my humble thanks to everyone that reads my words.
Never give in--never, never, never, never, in nothing great or small, large or petty, never give in except to convictions of honour and good sense. Never yield to force; never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy.
Sir Winston Churchill,1941
Fencing? Try digging a ditch and dropping in Jersey Walls....then stacking sand filled dry-vans (8'x6'x52') two or three high on top. Try cutting through a gravel or sand filled barrier 16 to 24 feet high, six feet wide. Without being seen. Try digging under it knowing you've got to go down at least 8' to clear the Jersey wall....and over 20 or so feet to clear the wall. It can't be done in the time it takes people to stroll across open ground, so it's a win for deterance for all but the most committed...who still have the Border patrol to contend with.
